This excursion is an exclusive event for FlossTube at Sea. You must be registered for FlossTube@Sea 2027 to participate.
General Information
We arranged this excursion with Celebrity, which means we have all the benefits of taking a ship excursion: guaranteed first off the ship, guaranteed return to the ship, and most convenient access to the tour bus. However, you will register for our excursion through Stitchers’ Escapes rather than Celebrity. Therefore, you will not see our excursion on your cruise planner after booking. Tickets are provided to the Stitchers’ Escapes crew and distributed to the group on board.
The tour has a minimum and maximum number of guests. If we do not reach the minimum, we reserve the right to cancel the excursion and refund any registration fees paid.
Registration
Registration opens on Saturday, October 31 at 11am Eastern time.
Due to limited space, Stitcher/Makers will have priority in registering for the excursion. For applications received through Friday, November 13, we will allot the available places to Stitcher/Makers first, then add Non-Stitcher/Makers if space is available. An invoice reflecting your total will be sent no later than November 22. For applications received on or after Saturday, November 14, places will be allotted on a space available basis, regardless of whether you are a Stitcher/Maker or Non-Stitcher/Maker.
If you will pay for yourself and your traveling companion(s), you can submit a registration form for everyone in your group. If you need to submit a registration for someone who will pay for themselves, you must submit an individual form for each person. The Stitchers’ Escapes Crew is unable to split invoices for multiple people on the same registration form.

Our excursion to Caribelle Batik at Romney Manor was a highlight of the FlossTube@Sea cruises in both 2024 and 2025, so we couldn’t return to St. Kitts without visiting again!
Take in the rugged beauty of St. Kitts on a leisurely driving tour to historic Romney Manor. This 17th-century plantation is now the home of Caribelle Batik, where artisans have revived the batik tradition with a bold, tropical flair. Upon arrival at Romney Manor, enjoy a guided tour of the grounds. Then visit the Caribelle workshop for a batik demonstration and try your hand at this traditional craft, creating your own batik design to take home. Finally, take some time to enjoy refreshments at the Rainforest bar (refreshments are not included in the cost), explore the botanic gardens, or visit Caribelle’s boutique, where you can choose from a wide array of gifts, wall hangings, apparel, and yard goods for which Caribelle Batik is justifiably famous.
Caribelle’s workshop can only hold 20 people at a time, so there are four separate departure times. When you register, you will rank your choices. We will make every effort to assign you to your first choice. If you are traveling with other attendees who are submitting their own registration form, please make sure you coordinate and rank your choices in the same order.
The departure times are as follows. These times are when we will depart from and return to the ship. The meeting time for the excursion will be 15-30 minutes prior to the departure time.

Important Notes
The excursion does not include a meal, and Romney Manor does not have a full restaurant. Be sure to allow time to eat on the ship before departing if necessary.
We are scheduled to be in port from 8:30am – 5:30pm. If you have one of the afternoon departures, and want to get off the ship in the morning, you will need to allow time to re-board the ship and get to the meeting location. The meeting location will likely be on board the ship and we won’t find out for sure until embarkation day. We do not recommend signing up for an additional excursion before or after your assigned time slot. Unforeseen delays can result in later return times. Stitchers’ Escapes will not offer refunds if you miss your departure for this excursion. Similarly the ship will not offer a refund if this excursion returns late and you miss something you signed up for after it.
The excursion requires walking over uneven surfaces and standing during the demonstration and activity. We handle accommodations for mobility assistance on a case-by-case basis. The registration form includes a place to tell us about your mobility needs.
