These needlework classes are exclusive events for Stitchers’ Escapes. You must already be registered for our 2022 Summer Vacation Cruise in order to participate.

We will send you an invoice within 10 days of receiving your registration. Your full payment will be due in 30 days. Your place is secure once we receive your payment.
Choose carefully. If you cancel, we issue refunds only if the class is at full capacity and we fill your spot.

Most needlework classes being offered are suitable for stitchers of all levels. See each description for details.
Classes do not have a minimum enrollment. Merry Santa has a maximum enrollment.
A “ghost” option will be available for all classes.

Get in the holiday spirit as you stitch this delightful old elf. There are lots of special stitches in this one including double brick, giant triple Parisian, knit, alternating Nobuko, Romanian, and a few more. Your class kit will include the hand painted 13-mesh canvas, stretcher bars and tacks, needle, stitch diagrams, and an amazing array of threads like Kreinik ribbon, Very Velvet, Silk Lame Braid, Flair, cotton floss, perle cotton, Splendor, and more! Canvas designed by Lisa Worrell. This class is suitable for Intermediate-level stitchers.

In this class, Jean will share the backstory of how “Roxie” became a reimagined sampler based on the antique Roxana Corson sampler. The class will focus on the stitches that the participants in the original SAL found to be the most challenging and all the stitching tips you will need to succeed. We will also cover personalizing your sampler, choosing a verse, and many general cross stitching topics. Your class kit will include access to six detailed video tutorials, stitch diagrams, 30-ct Legacy linen, Cosmo floss, needle, and chart.

Stitch a special souvenir! Learn the linen finishing stitch! Jean will teach the basics that can be applied to assembling any two pieces of linen fabric for a lifetime of easy finishing. The class kit for this 3-D ornament / fob includes hand dyed linen, Cosmo floss, and all the materials needed for finishing. The class will focus on the assembly process so the kit will be sent out early for stitching.
